Well, its obviously a good time for reflection and forward looking. My favourite new year’s resolution tradition is crossing off three things from my bucket list. 2011 allowed me to cross off the following:
- own a violin/learn to play (I’ll admit saying I can play violin is a bit of a stretch right now, but technically, I can play a song. Looking to take lessons shortly.)
- ride in...

Drinking and ordering books off Amazon is starting to become a habit. Uh oh.
Related to a resolution, I’ve decided that with the new daylight savings time, I’m going to run two weekdays a week before work. I cannot tell you what a difference this hour change makes; I can already tell I’m going to be much happier in my mornings.
Bellwether Ideas →
It is most certainly in a beginning stage, and I don’t expect updates too too often, but I thought I’d introduce a blog I’ve started which is really more of a creativity project to me. It’s based on an idea from Seth Godin of practicing to develop idea generation.
It’s a pretty hard company to have chosen, but Google is my dream company, so I really didn’t...

It sounds so trivial, but I lost my phone. Not in the physical sense, but the broken screen has rendered it useless. It didn’t bother me much, the actual replacement of contents and downloading of apps, but there are some things that I haven’t been able to retrieve.
I wrote a lot on my phone. I kept lists of books/songs/films to look into, carefully hidden passwords, perfect gifts...

I’ve seen it done before, but this collection is worth checking out.
Ever the multi-tasker, I am so glad I found Indie Soup Runner. Every month they release a 60 min mix of songs for running to. Now, I can discover new music while learning to like to run.

I haven’t posted much this summer, but it’s been for the good purpose of going out more and being generally so happy.
Despite the kinda crappy month of June with commutes to York, I can say this is my best summer so far. I can’t place the change, but I know I have, and I have become so much more willing and ready to accept happiness.
I’m relaxed, excited, and oddly...

I just registered for a French class at U of T’s School of Continuing Studies for this September. I’m pretty pumped about taking the first step of my Paris goal.
Post-SOA and pre-UFE studying, I can’t help but feel like the next month of my life may be the best month of my life. Oh, the possibilities!
How long do you wait?
I always love thinking about the future and how everything seems so within reach. I develop characteristics that I want fulfilled, or places I want to go. But it stops there. I blame my current situation in that I’m in the middle of getting my designation, and that all my dreams can begin once this is over.
But how long do you wait? How long do you wait for a risk-free condition?
